Christmas panto is not "Pantomime", as most people know it, it's the retelling of favourite fairy tales like Cinderella, Snow White, Aladdin, etc..., in a wild, outrageous and quite unique way. Men dress as women and women dress as men, jokes come fast and furious, there is singing and dancing. The audience is fully expected to cheer at the heroes, and 'boo' & 'hiss' at the villains. Actors might run into the audience and kids may end up on stage. Sweets and other 'things' will be thrown to the audience and, the audience can even dance & sing-a-long.For Cinderella - there is a theme. And it's "The King" Let's face it what other rocker made the journey from rags to riches, from trucker to 'The King' ? Elvis' story was a Cinderella story if there ever was one.Panto is great family entertainment, perfect for the year-end holiday season because, as it always should, everything ends happily ever after...Merry Christmas baby. Uh Huh!P/S, I really have a GOOD LAUGH watching this musical, HaHaHaHaHaHa......
